Serum Saviours.

Happy Monday beautiful people, I hope you all had a great weekend! My post today is alllll about my serum saviours; I just had to tell you about my two favourite serums at the moment.

So during the Black Friday sales, I purchased a serum called ‘IT’S SKIN – VE EFFECTOR POWER 10‘. The serum comes in a purple bottle, has a dropper applicator for easy use, contains 30 ml and is wrapped in clear plastic to guarantee it’s authenticity.

The serum is a concenrated hydrating serum which contains Vitamin E capsules to surge moisture and nutrition to your skin. Some of the serums ingredients contain vanilla extract, rose water and something called boswellia extract which helps to boost your skins elasticity. Also, what’s great about this serum is it is suitable for all skin types but it’s especially idea for dry and dehydrated skin as it unveils a softer, healthier, smoother and brighter looking complexion.

I have been using this product morning and night for over a week now and my skin actually looks great when it’s makeup free. It visibly looks brighter and happier; I have not experienced any spot outbreaks since using the serum and seen no irritation. What I don’t like about some serums is that they leave your face oily; not hydrated – but this thankfully is not the case with VE Power 10.

How to use?

It’s quick and simple using this serum and can easily be added into your morning/evening routine without adding much time to your day.

  1. Wash your face thoroughly
  2. Cleanse and tone your face if or as you would usually
  3. Apply a small amount of the serum onto the palms of your hand
  4. Rub your palms together to warm up the serum
  5. Apply to your face and neck, massaging gently into the skin

My second favourite serum is something I kind of stumbled across. I was sent a derma roller last week to test and review but it came with a serum called ‘Smyrna – Vitamin C-20 Serum‘. Each time I derma roll my face, I apply this anti-aging serum to my skin; the derma needles pierce the top layer of my skin allowing the serum to absorb quicker and deeper into my skin for maximum effect. Just like the VE 10 serum, it comes in a glass bottle with a dropper applicator so you can control your drop/serum amount.

This serum is all natural and cruelty free; it doesn’t contain alcohol or any parabens. It contains Vitamin C which is said to leave you with beautiful, fresh, stronger, tighter and glowing skin. It also contains Vitamin E and Vegan Hyaluronic Acid for extra powerful anti-aging effects.

When I started to notice my fine lines were decreasing and my eye bags were no longer sagging; I looked into the Smyrna product and it’s benefits. Let me list just a few of them for you…

  1. It increases the production of collagen, helps keep your skin looking healthy and youthful.
  2. It reverses signs of aging and reduces age spots. Repairs sun damage such as age spots, discoloration and fine lines.
  3. It improves skin texture to give you a smoother, brighter complexion.
  4. It works for all skin types, both men and women.

How to use?

You can choose to use this serum any way you like, whether you just want to apply it morning and night before bed, just in the evening or after a derma roll session on your face and neck. I personally use it after derma rolling for maximum effect but that might not be for everyone. If you are interested in derma rolling, check out my last blog here. To use the serum itself..

  1. Wash and dry your face removing any makeup.
  2. Cleanse and tone your face if this is part of your beauty regime
  3. Apply 3 drops of the serum into the palms of your hands
  4. Apply to your face and neck generously

Ingredients

The all natural ingredients to this wonder product are..

Deionized Water, Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Vegan Hyaluronic Acid, Witch Hazel, Vitamin E, Amino Complex, Organic Jojoba Oil, Kojic Acid, Arbutin, P-anisic acid.

If you are thinking of investing in this serum, you can purchase it for $10.95 from the US from www.jet.com or from the UK for £8.25 from www.amazon.com.

Verdict

In my opinion, these serums are amazing and quite literally my skin savers at the moment. At 25, you don’t really notice the fine lines, eye bags, dehydrated skin and dull complexion until it’s visibly gone. Using these serums, it’s tackled pretty much all of those listed and I now see a brighter and tighter face when I look in the mirror.

The products are so affordable and more than worth the money; even if you’re unsure, it’s not like you’ve spent £62.00 on an expensive night serum brand to realise it actually doesn’t benefit your skin whatsoever,

I do usually put the products and prices on the products page but I have linked them in this post today instead for you; just click on the website links mentioned earlier.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this post; I appreciate you all.

Untill next time beauties..

All my love, Levi-Maria.
