DermoFuture – Filler or Faux?

Hi guys! I hope you’re all having a fabulous Sunday! I am back with another review for you beauties but sadly, it’s a disappointing one.

Two weeks ago I was sent a non surgical lip plumper called ‘Lip Injection – Glass Glow‘. Now, whilst the packaging looks somewhat concerning, it is only a lip gloss – don’t worry!

This product is said to be an alternative method to permanent lip enhancement which expands and fills the lips. It has a micronised structure and content of a ‘super size complex’ which makes the lips acquire colour, firmness and is also said to act as a cushion or support for sunken skin around the mouth.

This glass glow contains Vitamin B5 which sinks into the skin, reduces water loss through the epidermis and effectively moisturises the mouth area leaving it soft.

It also contains Vitamin E, also known as vitamin of youth, it is one of the most effective  free radicals that is responsible for premature aging of the skin, effectively and quickly, reinforcing its protective barrier. The result of this action is to restore the layers of collagen and elastic fibers in the skin which increases its protection against external factors. It also contains Castor Oil as this gives excellent results in the form of long-lasting hydration for your pout.

How to use?

1 – Apply to your lips and mouth area
2 – Apply preferably before bed and first thing in the morning
3 – Use lip scrub to prepare your lips and rid of any dry flaky skin
4 – Apply generous amount to targeted area

For best results, use for 28 days.

Results/Verdict

The results for me were extremely disappointing. I followed the instructions and applied the Glass Glow morning and night. The gloss itself was very thick, sticky and greasy. There was a slight heat to the product which I thought would be a positive, like a chilli lip plumper which I have used in the past however, the heat disappeared almost instantly and my lips didn’t change.

Using this before bed, I would flip your pillows over. The gloss gets everywhere, it doesn’t seem to dry out – EVER. It is also almost impossible to apply any lipstick to your lips after using this product within the day; it just slides straight off.

After 15 days of using the Glass Glow, my lips are no different. They remain the same size as they were two weeks ago. I absolutely hate giving bad reviews however I needed to tell you guys all about it and save you all some money if you have ever thought about purchasing this ‘plumper’.

The good thing about this product is that it’s a long-lasting lip gloss, but that’s not what I need. I need big lips, not shiny lips.

If you guys have any good lip plumper recommendations, PLEASE let me know. I would love to hear from you! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my review today!

Until next time..

All my love, Levi-Maria.
